EOSBF 2026 - Autumn Meeting of the Brazilian Physical Society

With the intention of promoting and motivating work in experimental areas, the Brazilian Center for Physics Research (CBPF) will hold its 8th School of Experimental Physics (EAFExp) from February 3 to 14, 2025.
Held annually, this event is focused exclusively on experimental physics and is aimed primarily at undergraduate and graduate students in physics and related areas, mainly from all over Brazil and South America. Its objective is to provide a two-week immersion into the day-to-day experimental activities on advanced and current topics in physics in the CBPF laboratories.

XVIII Latin American Conference on the Applications of the Mössbauer Effect (LACAME) | Booth
Since its discovery in 1958, the Mössbauer effect, recoilless nuclear resonance fluorescence of gamma rays, has become a powerful tool in solid-state physics and materials sciences research. Mössbauer spectroscopy based on this nuclear resonance effect is a high-resolution technique used for local characterization of materials with applications to a variety of fields. Up to now, more than 60,000 papers were published worldwide using the Mössbauer technique.
